History of the Faculty of Computer Engineering:
The Faculty of Computer Engineering dates back to 1975. In that year, "Computer Minor" was established in the field of mathematics, and after that, it continued its activities in the field of computer science from 1985. In 1988, with the launch of "Hardware Engineering" and "Software Engineering" it continued its educational and research activities in the form of Computer Engineering Department in the Faculty of Engineering. In 2012, due to the expansion of fields and trends, the University Board of Directors approved and launched the Faculty of Computer Engineering with the following 4 departments:
- Software Engineering
- Computer Architecture Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence Engineering
- Information Technology Engineering
